The female brain is remarkable! Wired to focus on connection and relationship, we are the ones who can bring healing to conflict, build bridges between individuals, groups, and even governments in conflict. And we are the ones naturally equipped to encourage and support the brilliance and wholeness of others.
In this audio post I share with you an extraordinary experience I had recently, an experience that reminded me in such a touching way of the power we carry when we come together with others in support of a common goal.
There is an ancient Ethiopian proverb that says “When spider webs unite, they can tie up a lion”. I’ve actually read about this phenomenon, a type of spider that interweaves its web with the webs of other spiders so that, together, they create something much stronger than anything they could have done individually, a web so strong it can actually trap small animals. When I first saw this piece of wisdom, carved above a doorway, it took my breath away. “This is about us! “ I thought. About people in general, of course, and especially about women.
When we are operating from our true feminine wisdom and power, we don’t allow pettiness, jealousy, and hurt feelings to prevent us from living according to a higher perspective. When we come together with others of like mind and pool our considerable inner resources, we become unstoppable (and I mean that literally). When we connect with those who share our passion, our commitment, and our joy, the power we bring melts perceived obstacles from our path.
Look around you – where can you merge your own power with the power of others in order to create something that enhances life and possibility? Those situations are waiting for your wisdom, your grace, and your power. The planet needs you now.
